With many customers needing 24/7/365 support DCSPS offer a range of service and support agreements. These can be from general telephone support to next day call out, regular preventative maintenance to audits and surveys.


Maintenance Contracts
DCSPS offer a range of maintenance contracts that can be made to suit your needs and requirements.

Contracts can be tailor made or you can choose one of our standard contract agreements. DCSPS can develop a program for your site that will include hardware preventative procedures and good fault finding techniques that will assist your technicians to efficiently and quickly find the solutions to your DCS. Operating at peak performance is important so you will want to know when there are updates and software upgrades available.

By having a maintenance contract in place with DCSPS we will make sure that you will be informed of any updates and enhancements that are available for your system. You will also be notified of any equipment that may be becoming obsolete or would benefit from and upgrade. By having an agreement in place you will have the confidence that your DCS system will be operating at optimum performance with minimum down time.

24 Hour Callouts
In the event, we will be there

If your DCS is well maintained and has regular preventative maintenance work carried out you would hope that you will never have to call out an engineer at short notice. Rather than having to spend a great deal of money buying expensive 24/7/365 engineer coverage, you can tailor your regular maintenance contract to have 2 or 3 (or as many as you like) emergency call out options. This way you can have the regular maintenance support and at the same time rest your mind that should an emergency occur you can have an engineer on-site within 24 hours.

DCSPS can also tailor make your contract to have technical telephone support built into your package. This can be 24/7 or just in working hours.

Preventative Maintenance
The best money a site can spend on a DCS.

This is such an important spend on the Maintenance Manager's budget. If you fail to spend money on your DCS then it will fail you. DCSPS can assist in assessing and writing all PM tasks for your DCS. Preventative maintenance can be carried out by your technicians or by DCSPS. Tasks can consist of simple cleaning of filters and checking power supply voltages to complex software or hardware upgrades. Schedules can be calculated depending on the required routine PM tasks.

DCS Audits and Surveys

With ISO9000 certification you will know that record keeping and correct procedures are necessary to keep your certification and pass regular inspections. DCSPS can support you in writing backup procedure, software change request forms or anything that requires regular procedures to be in place. DCSPS can also assist in assessing the status of your DCS by producing a comprehensive report detailing the hardware condition, software condition and recommend improvements should they be available.

DCSPS offer firmware audits and configuration audits where we will compare the installed configuration in your modules to your project data in your engineering work station. It's often the case that when operators or technicians make changes to tuning parameters in the controllers this information rarely gets entered in the configuration project on the engineering work station. DCSPS can run verification reports showing any differences that should be updated. This is particularly useful because often these spec changes are often lost when the module gets downloaded from the engineering work station.
